Fun Times At Tree Trekkers: Frederick's Newest Adventure Park
I recently ventured out to Frederick's new aerial adventure park Tree Trekkers for a super fun and challenging morning of climbing and ziplining. Tree Trekkers is a family friendly outdoor adventure park sitting on 30 acres of privately owned protected land offering six different levels of climbing, swinging and zipline courses (with more currently under construction). The park offers 14 different courses from level yellow (beginner easy) up to black diamond (expert). I had never been to one of these so I was a bit nervous at first and didn't know what to expect but I can tell you that didn't last long at all. By the time I was done with the first yellow course I was all warmed up and ready for something a little more exhilarating.
So I headed back up to the platform to try the second yellow course as I wanted to get in a zipline before moving up to another level. When I got to my first zipline platform on the yellow course I stood there for a few minutes like a small child looking down into the pool for their first dive, until I was encouraged by some fellow trekkers to "just do it man". From there I moved on to the green course, then skipped the more difficult blue and black diamond and hit the red course which is all zipline. For me the most fun was the all zipline red course which I also thought was the easiest on the body at the time (until I woke up the next day). Needless to say I was sore for a couple days but you know what they say "No pain no gain".
Tree Trekkers is a must try for any adventurous outdoors person, and is perfect for your next birthday party, family gathering, outing with friends etc....
