Coming Soon: First Saturday Fire In Ice

One of my favorite First Saturday events of the year, Fire In Ice is happening in Downtown Frederick Maryland on Saturday 2/2/19. In June of 2015 I moved to Frederick and it didn't take me long to fall in love with this city, but the icing on the cake was my first Fire in Ice in February of 2016. First Saturday in Frederick is always a fun time when the shops and restaurants stay open late, Art Galleries have shows and feature local artists, there is live music on the streets and best of all Fredericktonians are out and about enjoying their beloved city. Fire In Ice in particular is the best of them all in my humble opinion.
Fire In ice is the epitome of winter celebrations, the holidays are over but the winter cheer is still in the air. As you walk the streets during Fire In Ice you will find S'mores and Hot Chocolate stations, Ice Bar On the Creek, Fire Dancers, Live Carving Demos, and amazing Ice Sculptures representing the various downtown businesses participating in the event.
